Trauma-Informed Must Be Race-Informed. AMAZE Works helps us explore how identity, stereotypes, and implicit bias affect trauma, grief, and loss. We learn what our brains are doing in moments of fear, stress, and anxiety and gain strategies to neutralize our own stress responses so we are less likely to act on our own bias and are more able to advocate for and support the children and families with whom we work.
