Family Services Committee
Description and Committee Charge
The Family Service Committee advises the RCCMHC Governing Board on services, policies, procedures, and systems-building practices that affect youth and families. The Committee provides a youth/caregiver perspective on effective mental health services that are strength-based, trauma-informed, and family-centered
Members work with RCCMHC staff to coordinate and develop family and community engagement workshops and trainings, legislative advocacy, education, and outreach.
Members periodically conduct or participate in the coordination of needs assessments.
Members advise the Governing Board on evidence-based, practice-informed, and community-defined approaches, including promising practices which may be new or emerging
Members will provide recommendations for specific services, policies, or procedures as directed by the Governing Board.
Day, Time and Location
The Family Service Committee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of most months. We meet at Rondo Library in St Paul. For more information, look at our online calendar.
