FREE Drop-In Groups
Listening and Resource Sharing for Parents

In response to new stresses in the community and challenges connecting to resources, RCCMHC is offering short-term virtual groups for parents and caregivers who speak Spanish, Somali, or Hmong. The purpose is to provide space for parents or caregivers to talk about their experiences and learn about or share community resources and strategies to manage stress and anxiety.​ These groups will be facilitated by RCCMHC Family Support Specialists.

 

No registration. No paperwork. No insurance required.

Who This Helps
  • Parents and caregivers with children who are stuck on long waitlists

  • Families who are afraid or hesitant to start therapy because of paperwork, intake requirements, or travel to a clinic or school building- especially families with immigration or ICE concerns.

On the day and time of the group. families simply need to:

  1. Open the language-specific page

  2. Click the “Join Now” button

  3. Enter the Zoom meeting

  4. There is no intake process and families are not entered into any system.
