About the Event
This FREE training takes place during the RCCMHC Children's Mental Health Advisory Council meeting. Demo toolkits are only for providers who serve youth in Ramsey County. Providers must attend the training to get the toolkit. We learn from each other-- Please bring YOUR ideas and resources to share!
Youth with high behavior needs are often turned away from services and community supports. This training is the first in a series of trainings and capacity building supports that will address this systems gap for these youth and their families. Examples of “higher behavior needs” could be described as: aggressive, defiant, or agitated behaviors in youth with mental health or trauma diagnoses. We might also describe this as low frustration tolerance, low impulse control, or high behavior dysregulation.
