About the Event
NOTE: THIS TRAINING IS NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH. You may not want your child to be present, as some topics will not be appropriate for children and youth.Â
Caring for children and youth can present challenges when caregivers are managing feelings of grief and loss. Sharon Chung, therapist for Family Mean’s Center for Grief and Loss will be discussing these challenges and how parents can manage their own grief and support children who may be experiencing grief and loss.
RCCMHC staff will also be discussing managing the feelings and shifts in expectations when parenting a child with mental health challenges.
Free CALM toolkit supplies will be delivered to your home following the training.
